Longtime Skyrim player, trying the VR version for the first time.
1. Movement takes a lot of getting used to; you either teleport from place to place (better for motion sickness), or move as in game, but controlled by VR controller stick so you can physically stand still and watch the (in-game) world rush by (BAD for motion sickness, I only lasted a few seconds in this mode).
2. I found the immersion of the environment to be REALLY good, even with vanilla Skyrim (no mods). Visual clarity and quality is going to be dependent on your GPU and headset, but I am running a 3070TI with an Occulus Quest 1 headset and SteamVR, and it was still very good. Newer headsets will be brighter/sharper, but I wouldn't go much lower for GPU if you want a smooth and pretty experience, so keep that in mind.
3. Having to relearn how to play the game with a new interface is a bit frustrating.
4. If you can get this on sale, it's definitely worth picking up. I can't believe I've paid for Skyrim 4 times.
- Whole new experience in familiar place
- With enough GPU and CPU and mods, this is the prettiest VR experience POSSIBLE.
- Great place to just go hangout and chill.
- Have to relearn to play the game
- VR motion sickness is a thing

Even if it's a quite old game, thir VR version is amazing.Needs to be modded for a better experience.

Easy to use just what I needed for code instantly. Way cheaper here than steam

Vr controls are poorly implemented, if you really want to play the game without ending up dizzy, mod it. Also the combat system is far from perfect, it really looks like someone forced vr support in that game, this lacks refinement.
- Doesn't need a high end rig to run fine
- It's the full game everyone knows and love
- Controls are very bad
- The combat system as is far from great

the most immersive vr game I've ever played and I haven't even installed mods for it yet the controls are a little clunky but you'll get used to them its amazing with its open world and i know the game is over 10 years old just its a different experience playing it in vr
- immersive
- controls
- graphics

This Game played vanilla is still good, but floaty hands, lack of interactibility makes it a weird VR port.
Though, with mods, which this game has millions off, it feels awesome to play this and it is easily the best VR game out there!
- Very good mod support + Immersion
- Bad VR Port, solved by mods!
